Happy Holidays!
Since it's already past Christmas I can't give a Christmas greeting, so I'll make it a general greeting. I haven't been here lately because of my internet problem: I don't have internet anymore TT____TT And as things go, I don't belive I'll have in at least another month. I just came to give a song I heard on Christmas, hence the title but no relation whatsoever. But I liked the theme of the song. Those of you who have watched "Meet the Robinsons" already know it. I watched the movie on Christmas day and liked it very much, and I think this song reflects the central theme of it.
Short account of my Xmas day.
I had a very quiet Christmas. Very quiet time indeed. Just me, the cat and a couple of dvds to while the time away. My family went on holidays and I stayed to take care of the family pets, a cat and a canary, who as the proverb goes, can't get along. Well, the canary can. So long as the cat is out of sight. The cat also can... play with the food.
The canary is usually woken up by the fireworks going off. I went to bring it to a more quiet room and I found that it was actually asleep! Amid all the noise and ruccus, light and color, for the first time it was peacefully asleep. So I let it sleep.
As the cat is only a year old he is not used to the sounds of celebration accompanying this time of the year, so I stayed near in case I had to put it away. Again it surprised me. The cat was actually very curious about all the noise and racked and went slowly to the window to see what it was all about, craning its head out of a small opening for a better look and stayed there until it got tired and went to sleep as well.
Animals are amazing. Especially those which are raised by humans. They display such a great amount of human knowledge that, even if they don't talk, you fell like they understand and act according to their own personality.
I hope I can get as quiet a New Year, but I better not push my luck. My family will be here this time, so my hopes are very low.
Happy New Year to everyone! And may all of your wishes come to pass.
